Description Assists in safe, efficient, endoscopic procedures that physicians will use as a tool for making a diagnosis for Adult patients. Proficient in endoscopic equipment set up and maintenance of such equipment. The technician will assist in the education of patients and families under the direction of the physician. Cross train to assist in procedures as needed. Responsible for appropriate specimen distribution, procedure documentation and allocation of paperwork and billing.
