INSTRUMENT AND CONTROL ENGINEER

As an Instrument & Controls Engineer for a CO2 emissions reduction project in Oil & Gas assets, Engineer key responsibilities involve designing, implementing, and maintaining instrumentation and control systems to optimize processes and reduce carbon emissions. Engineer will work on developing and implementing advanced control strategies, integrating new technologies, and ensuring the proper functioning of automation systems. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, Engineer will contribute to the development of strategies for emissions monitoring, data analysis, and process optimization. Engineer role includes evaluating and selecting instrumentation technologies that enhance energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact, all while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Experience

10+ Years experience in upstream processes

• Have an understanding of relationship of control variables that effect energy

• Taken part in energy/CO2 reviews

• Flaring reduction study

• Load shedding and electrical management system integration

• Control loop tuning

• Compressor and turbine control system logic
