Promote the health and well-being of university community through instruction in sustainable standardized processes.Provide designated classroom training. Responsible for organizing and teaching classes or groups and arranging for classrooms, equipment, and instructional material to be used by class.Provide standardized process and regulatory compliance training in the field. Perform compliance field audits to identify retraining requirements.Administer on the spot retraining and/or maintain records recommending individuals for remedial training classes.Train employees in the Transitional Work Program in accordance with medical restrictions and monitor the effectiveness of the assignment.Maintain records of class attendance and compile reports relates to monthly training.Drive university vehicle.Promote interest in voluntary classes and professional development opportunities.Other related functions as assigned.Required qualificationsHigh school diploma or GED. Two years of demonstrated experience in public speaking/presentation skills. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience following complex work instructions. Experience communicating and interaction with varied populations. Excellent communication and organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and customer services skills. Ability to meet deadlines. Regular and punctual attendance is required.Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.Preferred qualificationsBachelor's degree. More than two years of experience training custodians or other facilities personnel. Experience administering adult training programs. Experience in an OS1 or team cleaning programs. Proficiency in multiple languages such as English, Spanish, ASL, French, Swahili, Kinyarwanda and Vietnamese.Driving RequiredThis job requires a class "C" operator's driver's license. The applicant selected must provide a current three-year driving record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, a Texas driver's license must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident.Salary$45,000+ depending on qualificationsWorking conditionsEnvironmental DemandsMay work around standard office conditions.May work around chemicals.Continuous standing and walking.Must wear uniforms and personal protective equipmentPhysical TasksRepetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.Use of manual dexterity.Climbing of stairs.Climbing of ladders.Lifting/moving and pushing/pulling.Additional Working ConditionsWork in a fast-paced work environment with overlapping deadlines. Direct client contact. Work in a team environment.
